08/15/2010 - Seven houses were razed while one was damaged in three separate fires that hit Cebu City yesterday.

Six houses in barangay Lahug were destroyed.

Lahug barangay captain Mary Ann Delos Santos said fire victims in sitio Maracas were occupying on a province-owned lot and will be allowed to rebuild their houses there.

The fire started at the house of Reynaldo Malazarte and was reported at 3:10 p.m. The blaze was contained in 11 minutes.

Fire investigator Nilo Daculan said no one was at home when the fire broke out.
